Frequently asked questions

Where are your products made?

We hand make our skincare in small batches at our lab in Hertforshire to maintain the freshness of each product.

Do you use natural ingredients?

Our Illuminating Mask Oil and Radiance Facial Oil are made using 100% natural ingredients combined to soften and soothe your skin.

Our British Pink Clay Mask is made using 98.3% natural ingredients carefully curated to benefit your skin optimally. The remaining 1.7% are clean and conscious lab-made ingredients which support the integrity and safety of our formulation.

What is the difference between the Illuminating Mask Oil and Radiance Facial Oil?

Our Illuminating Mask Oil has been formulated specifically to be mixed with our British Pink Clay. We don't advise using the Illuminating Mask Oil directly on your skin.

Our Radiance Facial Oil has been formulated to be used directly on your skin and can also be used mixed with our British Pink Clay.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship internationally except for the USA or Canada which we are hoping to introduce soon. Please note, you will need to pay for international shipping as well as any customs/duty on the parcel arriving in your country.

How long does shipping take?

We aim to ship your orders within 2 working days.

Items being sent to the UK will arrive within 2-3 working days and a tracking link will be provided for orders over £40.

Items sent internationally will take from 7 to 10 business days and a tracking link will be provided.

Do you test on animals?

We have and never will test on animals. Our products have undergone extensive testing on those who would be using the mask – people!

Are your products safe?

Yes, our products have undergone testing and each have a Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSE). This is a legal requirement to sell cosmetics in the UK and EU.

Are your products vegan?

Our Radiance Facial Oil and Illuminating Mask Oil are both 100% vegan.

Our British Pink Clay contains pearl powder, which has been likened to bee pollen and honey.

Can I return an item?

If you notify us within 14 days of receiving the product, we will refund the cost of the item only after receiving the product back to our office.

I think I've had a reaction

We recommend doing a patch test 24 hours prior to use.

If you believe you've had a reaction, please take a photo and send it over to isobel@perlcosmetics.com.

If this is provided within 14 days of purchase, will be happy to try and resolve the issue with you.

Please note, redness is common after using clay masks as the clay stimulates blood flow to the skin.
